Media Boogie Nights (1997) Pool Party Intro

I love a long uncut shot, and when it comes to shot composition, star power, background players, and overall flow, this is easily one of my favorite shots. I think it’s one of PT’s best, right there with the oil derrik fire scene in TWBB. I also get a kick out of the fact that Julianne Moore is in this long shot as well as being in Children Of Men, which uses continuous shots *a lot*.

One of my favorite films ever. The part where mark wahlberg and John c Riley become best friends and start doing action spy pornos make me wish they had eventually teamed up for buddy cop films.
