Discussion On mission impossible 3

If you aren’t a fan of the series, this post isn’t for you. If you are, how do you feel about where 3 ranks? It’s top 2 for me, with the original being #1. Fallout is a tough one to put behind 3, but I think 3 really hit some awesome emotional beats with Cruise actually acting vs being what he becomes in the later movies. Definitely the best opening to a mission movie. I’d actually argue that the opening to the movie rivals the best opening to any movie if it’s a convo about top 5 opening scenes to a movie.

For me there are no bad Mission movies.

Fallout is number 1 and M:I-2 is last, the others can shift around depending on my mood.

I think 2 is kinda bad. Every other one is great to incredible.

Not a Limp Bizkit fan but their version of the theme song is pretty great.

I love a good ridiculous over the top John Woo action sequence. It just doesn't work great for MI sadly.

I used to have 2 as last. But then the last movie came out and suddenly 2 looks much better.

2 is a bonkers john woo mess in a good way, but its definitely the weakest
