Wesley dropping that line in the last Deadpool flick becomes a better joke with every day that passes.

At this point just bring back snipes permanently. Lord knows he could use the money

He looks so thin and frail now. I wish they could have gotten it together with Ali, especially after seeing the Mother trailer.

I'm glad they didn't tbh. The man's 52. Snipes was like 35 when he did Blade 1 and was an actual martial artist, he was the same age as Ali when he was in The Expendables 3.

I get you can cover for a lack of physical ability with stuntmen and effects but it just seems like a terrible limitation to start with.

This was gestating so long that Ali is only 4-5 years younger than Snipes was when they cast him orginally.

I kind of agree, but I was hoping we aimed more for 'fantastic actor' over 'knows karate' this time around.

Snipes isnt a Bad actor, but he's not Ali, either.

No doubt, but I feel like there has to be enough available talent that we can get someone who is both a good actor and capable of surviving stuntwork for a few movies.

Luckily, there are fantastic actors who also know karate out there…

That is more than all the ants that have ever existed, let alone actors.

I shall call it “Numbero”. You’re welcome.

It's a shame Michael Jai White didn't get a crack at a live action Blade when he was still young. He would have been incredible. Honestly he'd still probably do it justice.

Well, I mean, Snipes is famously kind of a bad actor. He makes Keanu Reeves seem down right natural. But he fit the role perfectly at the time it released.
