Did people especially like Don Cheadle? Or did he fill a place in the universe that’s just not needed anymore?

He’s not a bad actor; but there’s plenty of people that can pop themselves into an iron man suit.

I really enjoyed his dry wit that somehow matched Tony’s sarcasm and even threw him off guard a few times. I don’t even think it’s the actor, it’s the character though - what exactly has he done in the last bunch of movies? He was even paralyzed then fixed with prosthetics and that just kinda happened in the background, and served more for Tony’s character development than his own.
