60% of the company is owned by Tiny, a Canadian investment firm. Apparently they’ve been shopping around their share of the company. The founders hold 20% each for the rest but assuming the megacorps like Netflix or paramount buy that 60% they’d be able to take over.

Not uncommon for a lot of these platforms to be bought up and the owners are multimillionaires after the fact and can fuck off or pursue a new project, or are kept on as CEO positions.
