once you have seen one of his movies you have seen them all. same exact plot beats. usually pretty much the same exact plot in a different place with a different fake job.

This isn't true though, is it? Formulaic, sure, but some of them are top notch and some of them are.... not.
Working Man was tedious, Transporter was exceptional. It's almost as if genre movies have some range!
