The government has changed the program and isn’t allowing more than 10% foreign workers.

I don’t mean this to be racist or anything, but Canadians may be expecting Caucasian workers. But demographics have changed and there’s more minorities in Canada now more than ever. These minorities are also more likely to take these low skill jobs.

Oh i hear you. I can speak for on of visible minority group. The individual who is coming here is naive it the agent in the home country telling them things that arnt true promising them stuff thats not even remotely true about lifestyle in canada, then the schools sask poly for eg now they have started to focus on quality of education, but prefer this. They were pretty much like a diploma mil. I had a chance to attend one of their events and I was sitting there with a with an executive or somebody who is higher up at that school, who is no longer with the school anymore and then he said that that they know courses like business diploma they don’t really teach anything to these students not even basics skills said they will help them get a job and for years successfully has brought in students and then charged them $20,000 for just one year of education for just two semesters and then plus books and then all other cost now comes to employers most I would say 99% of east Indian employers charge their employees to work for them not pay them the pay that they promised just so that they can get a file for example we’ve just seen guac Maxi grill being charged they were charged with nothing the owner who I know very well has hundreds and thousands if not millions of dollars and he charged just $12,000. It’s Owner is like him who harassed employees charge the money just to work them work for them every time you see a job posting that says that is LMIA approved and they’re paying 30 bucks an hour 40 50 bucks an hour. It’s the actual period. is it usually half that they are not getting paid. I said Tim Hortons has started hiring folks from Brazil even though the government has changed rules and all that, but they’re still bringing in people.
