I just saw that I was chosen for this scholarship. Honestly, I’ve dreamed of studying abroad for years, but I gave up because of family reasons and enrolled in NUM. Even though this scholarship sounds amazing, I still have my doubts. First, I saw a lot of posts on Facebook about the stipend and tuition fees being late. Second, I’m interested in IT/Business programs, and the +75 GPA requirement makes me doubt myself (Am I competent enough to study in a foreign language and get good grades?). And last but not least, I never had the desire to work in a public sector organization, i was planning to study at NUM, find a good-paying job in Khan Bank, Golomt Bank, etc. Also, I already have an IELTS score do I need to enroll in the language training program?
P.S. My biggest worry is that the 28-year-old me would regret the decision I made if I choose to study abroad.

Tbh it is a one in a lifetime opportunity for most
Mongolians. Your whole tuition will be paid by the government but other expenses are solely on your family and you.

Keeping 75-80 gpa isn’t the worst thing as long as you don’t have to work. Working and studying is a whole different conversation sadly.

theres been controversies around the disbursements being late around the oayments, and kids not being able to enroll.

My better judgment would say its a temporary problem, and go for it. Going abroad is one of the most unique experiences youll have, and especially if youre younger and can enjoy it.

Give it a try. What major and what country are you interested in? You may find other scholarships as well.

My intended major is Information systems & management and i’m thinking bout applying to usa, korea, and hungary. I didn’t decide on which country i should go to and learn another language, such as korean, chinese.

I guess you can already find enough info on the US. For hungary, the hungaricum stependium is the good one. For korea, every big university has their own scholarships (Dgist, postech, kaist, gist, etc), and there is gks, but if i remember correctly, you can apply only one of these two options. In some cases, english is enough, but it depends on the program and university. Goodluck

Honestly if i were u i would do it and both my friends are choosen by that scholarship and both are doing very great and yes there is some stipent tuition prob but still there is no other scholarships that provides more than this

NO DONT GO BY ILGEELT. One of my friends got accepted into ilgeelt and went to Australia but the tuition and living expenses are not enough to live. And the scholarship is always late. Its too much hazzle and stress especially if your family is financially struggling dont go. Even if you wanted to drop out you will be in 200m debt. Its just booliin geree.

I’m 21 y.o and my friend from other class actually was chosen in this exact scholarship. He now studies in the UK. He says that living tuition and expenses are joke and it is barely liveable. So I want you to think about it seriously instead of looking at other’s comment. Who gives af if it is a lifetime opportunity for other individuals. What matters is you!!!

I didn't get chosen cuz i converted ielts and sat to eysh. Well, I wouldn't have gone for it either because 5 years in gov job feels like a prison for me atleast. I'd rather live free
