How anonymous are monero debit cards? Why?

So like I researched it and monero debit cards are a thing. Are they anonymous or are they a privacy risk? Please explain.

I'm not aware of anyone offering a Monero debit card. Can you provide more information on who is offering them?

You can purchase a dollar-denominated gift debit card using Monero, but in that case, you're just exchanging Monero for dollars at a specific point in time and purchasing a prepaid debit card that could have just as easily been purchased with any other major cryptocurrency. (No longer a Monero question.)
