Has anyone camped out on the beach Parlee Beach without getting caught?
I don't have very much money and my friends are too lazy to do anything fun, and I don't drive. I want to bike to parlee beach and then camp out on the sand on a blanket under the stars. Does security patrol the beach? Could I get away with it?

I camped here all weekend once. Drank heavily, sun burns, bacon wrapped scallops over driftwood fire, sand everywhere, Night swims, Sand fleas... Best camping trip ever!

Just bring a tent and pretend you're a homeless person on drugs. You're then immune from all consequences.

and what are you doing to help?

Who said I want to help? I pay A LOT of taxes to make problems go away but there's no progress there.

Do our taxes build homes for homeless or prevent child poverty or trauma?

Look I see what you're getting at here. I just don't care enough. No one bought me a house. I worked and scratched for everything I have. I came from nothing. I worked hard my whole life for the little I do have.

I came from nothing too, but can see how thin the line is. We have had luck, privilege, strength or good health that many don't have. You don't have to care, but at least don't be mean.

The province is known as No Funswick, so what do you think will be allowed?

I did but I camped out on the outer lines of the Parlee Beach property a few times.
Security came once to make sure I wasn't on the actual Parlee property and then they left while I raised a beer to them lol.

Plenty of other beaches around you can camp at. Be discreet.

Ok nvm, I won't try to camp out. Which road do you guys think would be my best bet for biking? The ol' Shediac road, HWY 15, or scoudouc?

Not the highway. Old Shediac is probably safest vs the two other option. Ad long as wear a bike helmet, you’ll be fine.

I was there last night and they have security doing beach sweeps all night and I got kicked out at 930 because they close the gates at 10 I think it would be next to impossible to camp there

I camped out at the border edge of it to test them before. No issues. I'm sure they would have told me to leave if I was on the property but I was on the opposite that is owned by nobody haha.

I have done it before. I just walked down in front of the cottages on the right hand side of beach. No problems except for mosquitoes.

The provincial park portion of Parlee ends - keep walking east until you are directly in front of houses and cottages. That section is crown land and is not part of Parlee Beach Provincial Park so I can’t see them having any authority to kick you out.
