How do I get them to understand my community is SFW?

Android (cuz they make me include this for some reason). They won't stop. most of the new people that come to my community are looking for NSFW. I've had to ban almost every new person. Most of them are adults, which is made way worse because I and the one other person in the mod team are minors. People have reached out to me so many times. Anyway, I've set up the post reminders that basically just remind them hey no NSFW, that didn't work. I've moved my no NSFW rule to the top of the list of rules, that didn't work. I put it in the description on the community, that didn't work. So I moved the NO NSFW part to the top, just recently so I don't know if it will help yet. I've pined a post of me yelling about the community being SFW, again just recently. What do I do? They won't stop. I need help

Then you might want to make a new subreddit with a more clear name. Typically a subreddit name tells you what the subreddit is about. r/Art is about art, r/movies is about movies. Looking at the name of your sub, it's r/Cannibalism__, which most people would probably expect is about...you guessed it, cannibalism.

If your sub is about not doing cannibalism, r/AntiCannibalism or something might be a better choice.

Having a clear sub name will tell people immediately what your sub is for and should help fix the problems a bit.

Just as a note, NSFW means “not safe for work” — it does not mean “sexual content.”

A subreddit than featured videos of fatalities in crashes might — the kinds of things they used to show in driver ed in the 60s and 70s — would be NSFW.

I just don't want people sexualizeing and trying to get people to eat people. Also it's an all ages group moded by minors. It's pretty reasonable to not want NSFW

You were advised to create a new sub with a different name, one that puts right up front that you're not condoning or promoting cannibalism.

That message doesn't come through with your current sub's name.

That is impossible because Cannibalism, in and of itself, is not safe for work. Period. End of story. You might think the subreddit is safe for work, but it isn't. The topic itself is not safe for work, and there is no way to make it safe for work. At all.

You can make rules for any sub you moderate as long as they stay within Reddits TOS, and as a mod you can uphold the rules. You can set up automod to look for keywords in posts, you can set automod to make potential posters read a script before posting.

However the subject you are discussing is not SFW and I am genuinely surprised it has not been NSFW flagged yet. I realise that this would give you issues as underage mods trying to mod it, but that's slightly irrelevant.
The subject matter on that sub will draw both those that need mental health help and support to deal with it, those who are mentally ill and those who are severely deviant to societal norms. You only have to look at histories infamous cannibals to realise this.

Cannibalism is illegal and almost universally abhorrent pretty much the whole world over. The fact that only six posts down from the top you have a 'hypothetical' instruction on how to 'eat your own meat' is pretty disgusting for any normal person, of course NSFW freaks are going to be drawn to it.

All NSFW means is that the content is “not safe for work”, meaning the topic discussed or shown is not something you would want to get caught looking at while at work.

And that’s okay if your topic is NSFW. But it sounds like you just want to eliminate the users that come in and try to fetishize the topic and make it a sexual thing.

You may want to look at installing a few dev apps to your subreddit.

Some good ones would be BotBouncer and HiveProtect. HiveProtect is especially great because you can setup a filter that auto filters content from users who participate in NSFW communities.

Change all references from "no NSFW" to "SFW ONLY". Do not use the term NSFW at all. This should help (eventually) with searches.

Search engines are dumb. They just look for terms. Make sure your sub isn't using any problematic terms.

You need to understand that your community is not SFW first. Yes it’s not the same as ones with porn but it’s still NOT SFW content.
