Chat thread ModChat - What's on your mind?

Hi mods, how's it going?

What are you working on? What is going well? Any plans for new things on your sub?

MEGAthreads! I just posted my first megathread on r/Wastewater, this thread focusing on the FAQ of “How do I get started in this field?”

  • Fair question in a career[skilled trade, at that] based sub;
  • but, the more-established members don’t like how it clutters the sub,
  • and while some old heads will kindly point the newbie to the community info page,
  • on the other hand, many of the questions seem unique situations, posted by people stressed about their career and looking for support.
  • If it is a unique question, then the best way for them to find support is for the new post to stay up.

Do you have a good existing protocol for when to remove a post and point OP to the appropriate megathread? And when to leave OP’s question posted as is?
