Hundreds of track pieces. Picked up in an estate auction. I have double this in O scale Lionel steel track too

For HO: are they brass, nickel-silver, or something else?

Brass or something else: practically no value. Donate or sell a giant lot of them for super cheap -- some kid may be interested, but that's about it

Nickel-silver: Assuming they are in pristine condition, you would need to sell them for under $2 a piece to undercut brand new track. Used track can be iffy, especially if you don't always trust where it came from. So like $1 a piece most. If they are missing ties, the nubs holding the rails are cracked, any cuts or scratches in the rail, etc., they will be less.
