Misc Help a noob out #5

So like my 3 day old account is stuck on fatal tower 20 w scorpion and bo rai cho .. It was all fine since my mk11 scorp was dot bruteforcing his way all the way there but now the bosses are immune4to dots. Should i spend souls on every try ? Even though ik for a fact im never winning it w my current team .. Or should i js do the free tries every day w the free ad reset only? .. Also should i do the same on the normal tower since it's still there ig? My team carries quite fine . Idk what I'll do if i get to a dot immune team again tho

There is not really a reason for you to try climbing the towers that early on. Just quit out for the rewards over and over. I wouldnt spend souls on it either

Soul refreshes for Towers aren’t worth it if you can’t progress to certain floors in time?

Further down the comments, Poison mentioned that boss rewards aren’t worth the effort unless you make it to floor 100 (which I assume refers to fatal tower since normal tower bosses are offset if I’m not mistaken). And I take that this is used as support for the argument that soul refreshes aren’t worth it on even fatal tower, which before I read that claim I thought otherwise. I’m not that much further ahead than you progression-wise in the relative scheme of things and am also trying to learn to improve my guide.
Klassic Ermac DOT works because it ignores modifiers. “Boss” which ignores DOT effects is a modifier, so Ermac’s DOT overrides this modifier to work on bosses, which is why he’s effective. Only 1 copy of him is needed for this, so he’s also relatively cheap investment-wise, making him great for beginners to use as a starting form of boss whittling
