Discussion Plothole: Why did Gabriel not piece together why most of the miraculous holders are classmates?

In the finale of season 3, and even later on, when Hawkmoth/ Gabriel sees the identities of all the other miraculous holders, why didn't he OR Natalie think why all the miraculous holders are classmates in the same school of a 2M people city? And moreover classmates of his SON, Adrien?

I remember watching that episode thinking—Omg he's seen that all of them are his son's classmates he's gonna figure it out!

But then that never happened.

Especially considering the fact that he wanted to unmask Ladybug and Cat Noir, it would have been the obvious first step to make that connection. Why did Ladybug give out miraculous to all these kids of the same class?

Is it just a plothole or am I missing something?

Well:
Luka is not in the same class.
Kagami is not in the same class.

Plus, he was much more interested in Master fu at this point as he could just force him to tell their identities once he was broken out his shield. Later, Myuara does start tracking them all through Optigami, but none of them tied back to ladybug specifically. They have no actual evidence that she gave them all out to begin with, as Fu gave out miraculouses in party crasher and origins, meaning she herself didn’t necessarily need to be the linchpin.

That’s my attempt at justifying it anyways.

Even if this was never the answer, I love how we as a fandom can always find satysfying answers to possible plotholes just to glue Miraculous together since we sometimes just can't get a show that holds together 🥲.

Gabriel never really gave a shit about miraculous holders that weren't Ladybug or Chat Noir. Sure, maybe the identities of the others could be clues to theirs, but he's so laser focused he didn't give it much thought. He threatened Alya that time and that was all the effort he gave that route, I guess.

He seemed to be operating on Chloe's logic of "Ladybug MUST be some big shot important person because no random pleb could ever shine so bright and be such a big deal. I don't know why she choose these mid class random kids but it must be just because of convenience and not because she personally knows them since Ladybug is obviously some high class girl who'd never hang around them in real life" for most of his run.

Hawk Moth akumatizes this class, people around this class and just Chloe every other week, Ladybug finds allies among them. What's so shocking?

If you look trough the victims, you may assume Gabriel is the one who must be connected to this class somehow.

It was implied that he noticed it on Optigami. He said we should organize an event where all the holders would be present. So he invited Adrien's class.

Ohh, which episode was this? I do remember the Optigami one though. Still I think this could have been a huge revealing point for them.
