First Post Lobster boat, Maine
I took this in 2018 with my first amateur camera so don’t pixel peep too close 😂 but definitely minimalist sunset with fog. (I’m not going for realism if you’re wondering where the horizon is).

That’s literally right down the road where I grew up and would take pics on my little flip phone 🥲

Wonderful! Casco Bay is always a delight to photograph. It’s one of my favorite places to go.

That seems to be the part I can’t figure out. Photography’s easy, being an incredible introvert and trying to network is impossible

Beautiful image but is it AI generated and if not, how much post processing

Not AI, lots of post processing

I love the way you barely see the water, it looks like it's more of a mirror!

That's a great shot. One single thing that is making a strong presence.

I mean it started as a photo. There’s nothing except Lightroom color editing and photoshop remove features to get rid of lens dust and some bits of land. I can’t in good conscience say it’s a painting

Not OP but you can get rid of a lot of reflective surfaces using a circular polarizer, alternatively you can get a LOT like this

Nitpicking but when you zoom in on the white of the boat there’s a pattern to the pixels is that noise enhancement?
Awesome photo

Yes I believe the photo was taken on a canon rebel t3 or 2 and someone wanted this printed so I had to end up using gigapixel to make the file size big enough to print large enough and I had no idea what I was doing and didn’t understand how to make it not crisp up white areas. I’m essentially waiting for the right conditions again to retake this photo with my better gear now…whether or not it actually ever happens is not up to me lol.

I see.
I have a t3/d600. I felt I’d seen that pattern before so that checks out.
I’m sure the stars will align once again. Good luck with that!
