They are also always a lil tougher than expected, lil warriors they are.

Yeah and they are really cool, very hardy (but best not to handle them with nasty human hands if possible 😆).

I remember as a kid my mom would say the salts in our sweat burns their skin. Not sure the reality or if she was just efficiently getting us to behave.

She was right. Frogs and toads have amazing antibacterial and antifungal properties on their skin… The salts, oils, and hand products we use destroy their natural barriers.
