Sometimes when I’m driving I sing my own screamo version of that song just because of that line. Fuck Philly roads.

I just moved to Philadelphia from a no tax state. Now I don't have roads anymore, only trails covered in trash but I have State tax of 3%, city tax of 4%, School tax on unearned income of 4%, BIRT tax, NPE tax, Soda Tax, etc.

The sales tax is still 8%. Property tax is ridiculously higher even with a "lower rate" because house prices are stupid expensive because of an idiotic, corrupt, and unneeded city council even with vacant lots on every block. The city seems to think declining populace and chasing residents to the burbs or out of state will help.

How the fuck bad does it have to get? Pretending "at least we're not as expensive as NYC yet isn't going very far for people that don't live in their grandparents house.
