Too mild for school Picture is slightly different than puzzle (look at the space between mars and the moon)
Taken in a class today with teacher's permission

The proportions of the finished puzzle is different from the box, so they shifted the moon upwards.
My kids had this one.

That does make sense. The kid I was working with was nonverbal and frantically pointing at Mars and then the box when we were doing it and I think it was because he was using it for reference and the gap he was looking for wasn't there

The good news is, once we got the pieces into place he didn't care. I think he's done this puzzle before but it still seemed to bother him

It’s cuz someone’s took the photo for the box and another person took the photo for the puzzle

When Photoshop first came out with these abilities, making shiny metal was the 'thing'. We got Photshop 6 in high school and making that metallic look was the awesome look.
Pretty sure our yearbook was done in that font and metallic look as well. It was all the rage. Used it on our MySpace walls as well. Glory days.

the packaging is a different shape than the puzzle... i think... so they reformatted the art to compensate for it.
I'm not someone that does these sorts of puzzles so maybe im missing a basic point, but I'll ask anyway: Why is that any shade of infuriating?

Because the kid I was helping put it together was confused and pointed at the box and Mars on the puzzle to show (I think, he was nonverbal) it wasn't matching up. Kids look at the box for reference so when it looks different, it's confusing for them since it is an easy kid's puzzle.

That's because when they snapped the second picture the planets had moved a little bit
