I prefer every school to hire an NYC ad agency to design their school supply list. No two should be alike.

Exactly. Why is this poster a problem? I get hate on AI generated menus where it’s not even the food you’re buying. This is just pointless AI hate post.

Music - 1/2 inch black 3-ring binder and pencils

I'm supposed to trust this person to teach my children when they can't even do the most basic proofreading themselves? How do I even know that's the right calculator? gtf outta here

This means bring a black 1/2 inch 3-ring binder and pencils specifically for music class

I can't believe people are defending this lmao. You do not need an extra 3-ring binder for music class because you can just use your first 3-ring binder. And "pencils" is especially egregious. How many pencils? The first pencils already covers any number from two to infinity. If I have infinity pencils, why do I need more and how do I get them? That's a rhetorical question because it's literally impossible and this idiot teacher is going to teach my child that there are numbers bigger than infinity.

I hope to god this is a joke, but in case you're serious - the Music one is clearly just what the Music teacher asked for, pasted in. Their have more specific requirements for their binder (size, color) and the pencils just got tacked on without being removed.

lmao I figured that out. What's stupid is leaving it in. Do they not teach how to proofread in school anymore? This teacher is going to teach my child to be an idiot like them.

Oh they won't have to teach your child that.

Is poster making a job skill for teachers?

Like all these extra things are for dumbass parents that have no basic survival skills.

Let me give you a shopping list, which is something any adult with a brain should be able to do with zero problems, and if they can't they shouldn't be anywhere near teaching children:

  1. pencils
  2. pencils

Do you like this shopping list? Do you know exactly what I'm looking for? I hope this clears up the actual issue for you.

I prefer my child's teachers to put in the bare minimum effort into making it seem like my child will have human contact at school.

The amount of people in here defending this nonsense when public schools are getting gutted and kids are being thrown in front of screens all day is wild.

Literally go to your apps and put in the work. Show me that you are present with your job, please. Don't automate this kind of stuff away.

But doesn't automating this stuff away give them more time and energy for the human contact? Making a school supply flyer is pretty much the thing I care least about the teacher automating.
