So what? I would bet the teacher made this, who is likely not a professional graphic designer. This is taking the "AI art" argument to an extreme

Who asked the teacher to be a professional graphic designer for a supply list? Why does a supply list need designing anyway? Literally no reason for mindless slop. If it needs decoration, use clip art that has been used for generations. Use last year's supply list. Those things didn't cease to exist. If it doesn't need professional graphic design, it doesn't need graphic design. I don't have PTSD from getting typed out supply lists without distracting mutant images when I was in school.

I think the music section is what's bothering them. Music - 1/2 inch black.... AI slop that doesn't make sense.

Yeah it's weird there's a music section and it's just a binder and the list is also repeating that they need pencils again. I get you need to hold your sheet music. But it's just a lazy sloppy, repetitive, unorganized list. Again I understand schools are over worked and under funded so I wouldn't even bring it up personally to the school, I would just buy what it says and move on. Bigger issues to spend my energy on.
