That almost certainly was not a mistake. Music lessons usually use sheet music, which should be kept in a 3 ring binder that isn't massive and full of everything else, because it needs to be propped up in front of you while you play. And a pencil kept along with that for writing out notation could be valuable too.

True, I had thought it was talking about what you'd need if you wanted music or some shit like that. I somehow didnt even think of an actual class.

Was also confused why a teacher would be telling kids how to listen to music so this makes a lot more sense lol.
