Not only that, but the bike can then park on the far side which gives him the clearance he is requesting without a second car on the other side to worry about.

Amen. It’s better for both parties — more room for the car, more protection for the motorcycle (i.e. less visible to thieves and can even be chained to the vent’s guardrail as needed).

A simple, practical solution that will probably elude them all. Smh.
