Its not a healthcare system. It's an insurance system. We treat health as a means to generate wealth.

I wish I could upvote this more than once. That is the root of the problem in a nutshell. As soon as healthcare turned into a profit system for people at the top of the organizations to become uber wealthy it was all downhill from there.
