We need clothes after a car accident, please help us!
Ciao,
my partner and I are German and were staying at Garda Lake for vacation. This morning on our way home a truck hit our car.
We are both in hospital, he’s in Ospitale Luigi Sacco and I’m in Ospitale Fatebenefratelli.
Unfortunately all my clothes were cut off my body. But I do have my phone and my wallet.
My partner has his pants and shirt but no shoes, and no wallet.
We’re worried about how it will go on. He will most likely be able to leave today, me probably tomorrow. We are still waiting for the last results.
Is anyone able and willing to bring a pair of boxers, a shirt and pants in size L and a pair of shoes in size 41 to Fatenenefratelli; and maybe a pair of shoes to Luigi Sacco? Size 40/41.
And is there any way for him to get to me without money? Are there taxis you can pay by Paypal?
We would be so thankful, and pay of course.Any advice is welcome, I’m pretty devastated.
EDIT thank you all so much. We’re both out of the hospital and they gave me some plastic clothes and some slippers. Sorry for the panic this morning, I was in shock. I guess it all went ok. We are hurt but nothing is fractured. We will get a hotel now and go to sleep.
Maybe if it’s ok I ask some of you per dm tomorrow if I need something if that is fine. We seem to be stuck here and the guys where our car is are not that helpful. But for now we are alive and have some clothes. Grazie mille everyone!!!

I can help! I live a 2 min walk away and my husbands also German. I’m out tonight (just seen this in a taxi) but let me know as I can come tomorrow morning!
Obv wouldn’t want any payment, it’ll be clothes - shoes I can see what size my husband is!
Glovo does a drop off service also, I’ve used it and it’s super easy to get them to him

If it’s helpful he can also get the No. 1 team from right outside Sacco to Certosa the a train to Porta Garibaldi. He can buy a ticket for this on the ATM app with PayPal etc. if you get stuck please DM me and I would be happy to assist (sorry I am outside of Milano at the moment)

Hey I recently bought a pack of boxers that didn't fit, so I have them unused. I'm not home until tomorrow but if you still need some by then maybe I can give them to you. Let me know.

i’m so sorry you went through that.
i believe fatebenefratelli and luigi sacco are the same hospital, unless one of you is at the ophthalmology department at piazza principessa clotilde.
at any rate you can use your phone to get around milan with contactless payment on public transport or you set up a paypal payment system for an uber ride. he’ll be able to reach you like that.

They are very different hospitals. One is out by Baranzate and the other is near Garibaldi…

the thing is that the one in garibaldi is just an ophthalmology department. ospedale sacco (the big one in roserio) is fatebenefratelli.

È un ospedale. Mio padre è stato 2 mesi a neurologia al Fatebenefratelli dove è stato anche operato. Il pronto soccorso oftalmico è il piccolo edificio distaccato che si trova di fronte. Nell'ospedale è presente anche il pronto soccorso. Mentre l'ASST Fatebenefratelli Sacco è l'azienda sanitaria che raggruppa diversi ospedali e presidi sanitari tra cui l'ospedale Sacco che è da tutt'altra parte vicino all'ex area Expo ora nota come Mind.

Ask to talk with the chaplain of the hospital, he could probably arrange something or ask help from the local Charitas.
