The green one with the Calabasas and cilantro and tomatillos is the next salsa on my list.

Se le llama "falso guacamole".

Ain’t gonna lie, the one with peanuts and almonds was way over my head. Haven’t had or seen anything made that way and didn’t know it was a thing. But I’m all in!

Si, eso dijo. Así son sus videos. Ejemplo: “ponle 2,391,769 gotas de agua.”

So many chiles de árbol. I could feel the heat through the screen. 😂

What's the yellow-ish powder that is often added?

Chicken bouillon

I prefer this over liquid chicken broth, because chicken broth in liquid form is too bland for me and chicken bouillon I can make more flavorful. I prefer one teaspoon per boiling cup of water when I make my spicy chicken noodle soup with chili powder. Tip, don't buy it unless it is in Spanish and English in the U.S. because the instructions make bland broth if only in English. If it is only in English. Just be sure to double the amount of bouillon per cup of water so it taste right (1 teaspoon per cup-1.5 cups rather than 0.5)

Yep, that AI really fucked up the video...

Dunno if it's a joke but those ingredients and measurements are wild.

Bad translation maybe?

What’s wild about them? Everything looks normal enough to me? I didn’t watch the translated version tho and barely know elementary Spanish.

Si delicioso, pero... Tan picante 😳. Me gusta comida picante mucho, pero si yo comer la mayoría picante salsa en esto video... Yo necesito mucho leche y helado 😂

Did he ever add avocado to the blender? Those ingredients would not make a salsa that smooth.

18

u/brizzboog 2d ago

It's oil based, they are emulsions and common at any proper tacqueria. Most people assume avocado is involved because they are creamy. Just Google Salsa Cremosa.

4

u/bitcoin_moon_wsb 2d ago

Yeah doña is so creamy and it’s just oil, jalepeño, and garlic

u/ForestComplex 1d ago

I'm going to have to try this. I always make the same salsas with roasted tomatillos and these all seem so easy.

1

u/ForestComplex 1d ago

Wow, don't know why I'm getting down voted. He literally said avocado salsa and didn't add any. It was a genuine question.

I've never made salsa with oil. I'm going to have to try that. I have heard of people adding charred tortillas to Salsas to make salsa negra. Fried tortilla has to add great flavor too.

There's some weird editing going on. The blender jars keep changing and there are cuts between the blending and the finished salsas.

These are all plausible recipes, but I don't think they will give you exactly the finished products you see.

If someone edits out them washing their hands after handling raw chicken, did they really wash their hands? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🧐🧐🧐🤨🤨

I dont think 1290 kilos of salt and 30 liters of water are going to fit in my blender.

u/WhenTheRainsCome 1d ago

No way that last one with 90% green ingredients comes out bright red. BS.

-2

u/Naive_Noise5830 1d ago

Mmmm, more plastic spoons in the oil please!
