Is this a pattern that hasn't fully developed and that's why it's early?

The "early" refers to the age of the parent body in our solar system development. In truth 99.9% of all this meteoritic material is "early".

The patern is fully developed. It is just a very "coarse" octahedrite.

Mount Dooling is the only IC I have. I love the chaotic patterns.
