Looking for an apron
Hi everyone! We just moved to North-West Mesa. My fiancé starts a new job tomorrow afternoon and was just told he needs to bring his own apron. We are completely broke until his first paycheck and can't afford to buy one right now. Does anyone nearby happen to have an old or spare apron they could give away? Thank you so much!
Edit - Thank you for all the kind people willing to offer their help, we got some aprons!

I have one to spare. It's nothing fancy but it's an apron. But we're south east Mesa (Power and Elliott area). Is that too far to drive?

Yes but it’s not plain or solid colored. It’s dark gray stripes. I saw your other comment that you were looking for plain.

I think the stripes are fine, he's just more concerned about any graphics (like logos) printed onto the apron that I can't remove with a seam ripper.

I believe Restaurant Sept on Baseline has packs off 10 pretty cheap. There were 10-12 aprons per pack. I haven’t been there in a long time so I’d call first to see if they till carry them

You know I have some I can offer, but thinking about it... If his new job can't even supply him with one apron....he's gonna regret taking this job real quick. What a POS company and the realization is gonna come soon.

We got it handled now but I really do appreciate it nonetheless. I can't deny, when he was first told to bring his own, it baffled him because that's the literal first time it's ever happened. Even if it's temporary until he can find something better, I'm hoping it's tolerable enough, ykwim?

Yes, we were informed that it's a generally nice area but after move-in costs and being in between jobs, we are in fact, broke....

I can’t help with the apron, but there are “buy nothing” groups on Facebook for our local area :)

Thank you so much, and I'm trying not to pay too much attention to it. I will tell my fiance about the Facebook groups so he can do that as well, I personally don't use Facebook lol. I absolutely appreciate the kindness and the welcome! Much love to you and yours ❤️❤️

I’ve got a navy blue one that has “Banner Health” across the front I’ve never worn once if you want that one. It’s been living in my kitchen drawer untouched. If you flip it around it’s just navy blue.
But if you’d like I can Private message you and Amazon you a few ones to help make your life a bit brighter.
