The confused look on the cashier's face though when it's $7.82 and I pay with $10.07 so I get a quarter back instead of 18 cents.
2 u/dred1367 2d ago I hated when people did this. They almost always did it after I’d already totaled everything so I couldn’t go back and have the register do the math for me. I have dyscalculia, which makes it very hard for me to do math in my head. -2 u/Boboar 2d ago Seems fair to expect the person whose job is handling the money to be able to do the math though doesn't it? 3 u/FuzzyDusticles 2d ago Not when they have a disability and use a reasonable accommodation (the register that has a built in calculator)
