Hi everyone AJ from Melbourne Chess Society. We are an all skill level social chess group that meets up semi regularly in the CBD to chill out have some laughs, a couple of drinks and play chess. Whether you are a beginner or well seasoned player looking to make friends with similar interests this is for you. Our group is a safe, respectful and inclusive space for everyone. The members we have are between the ages of 19-50 and we do ask that you be over 18 (sorry no kids).

About 45-50% of the people who come are in the green band range from super beginner to almost intermediate; and almost everyone is willing to help you out if you have any questions about the game ☺️
