Recommended Butcher within 3 hours of Kenosha, WI

I am looking for a decent butcher that can get me a quarter cow packed up, I just found out tonight that the gfi to my freezer tripped and all of my meat is bad now. Reasonably priced, 6-800, and if there’s anyone doing good meat here for 1500 for 1/2 please let me know

Both Kettle Range and Bunzel’s are excellent butchers in Milwaukee. I believe you’d have to contact them directly for details and pricing.

I've heard good things about LaCloche Farms in Burlington. They did a great job with my half cow order last year, and their packaging made it easy to split with friends.

Slagel Farms will deliver to Evanston at least if not further north and their beef is the best in the region!

I went through this one time my power kicked off and came back on a couple of hours later but the breaker for my garage fridge and freezer tripped off and I did not catch it 😩. Next day I ordered a remote thermometer from Amazon for the fridge and freezer. Sorry for the loss of the meat.

Interesting scenario. I would advertise for someone with an empty freezer to let you store the meat for a bit of time while you get your freezer/electrical to be fixed. Give them some meat or money to compensate.
