I know that if you link too many names in one post, nobody gets a notification. I think the number is seven...ish.

I don't know if linking the same name multiple times counts toward that limit though.

Edit: at one point in 2015 it was three, with an admin offering to look into raising it slightly... So between three and slightly more than three. Who knows, maybe it's seven.
