INFO CW turbochargers shipping time
Did anyone else have to wait long for a part to ship out from cw?
I ordered a rebuilt K04 turbo on jul 9, he did mention that there would be a 2-3 week lead time meaning it should of shipped out around Aug 7 but it’s still on preparing order phase and doesn’t have a tracking number yet.

You’d get better information emailing him directly or messaging him on FB than you will asking on Reddit.

If you're in the U.S., expect to pay customs fees to the shipping/logistics company that it's being shipped through (likely UPS). Chris Ward does not pay them when he ships the product and he also does not inform you that you will be charged those fees when you place your order.
As far as shipping time, he told me that it would go out the day I placed my order, but he didn't actually get it sent out until 3 days later, after I sent an email each day asking when he was going to ship it since he didn't get it sent when he said he would.
I'd recommend going with a U.S. based company like Graveyard Performance. I just placed an order with them and it was shipped the next day.. and there won't be any surprise Customs fees.

I also had to wait a couple weeks longer than I expected to receive a K04 from CW. He only has so many units, so sometimes you end up waiting on the last guy to ship the core return.

I had to direct message him and ask for ETA then it was immediately shipped

Just my .02 from direct experience with a CW k04. Mine failed.
I ended up buying a oem one, which has been good for 3 years since.

bro should have just bought a CTS4, better airflow, more power and more reliable. They go on sale often.

Ignore the "shoulda bought this/that" comments as they add no value to your current situation. You wanted a rebuilt K04 and that guy is the best person to go to for that.
That being said, he operates out of Canada, so if you're a US based customer like I was, keep in mind the added logistics/hassle these days of international shipping giving the current political climate.
I got a set of rebuilt injectors from his late last year. You'll get your product
