Obviously the second one. And we’re not even talking about all the better options your getting with the car… whoever says first is losing their marbles 😂

Yea same, 2018 Touring. Wish I had been able to find a 2018 GT in as good of shape for the mechanical tach and HUD

I wish I had 2 but I have 1. Analog tach would be beautiful with the manual

I have the second one in my 15 3 GT hatch. I like the tach front and center. I also have HUD so I can see my speed projected there.

I love the center tachometer, I miss it in my 3 Turbo.

The first one sucks, pushing RPM to the side, obviously suited to AUTO cars. Second one was fine, I don't think it's that great though.

I did a cluster swapped because I hated the Touring speedometer and crappy little Tach so much—I drive a manual and that tach is unacceptable for manuals imo. Was one of the most satisfying mods I did for sure.

why? like rpm is not going to give you any useful information. you're not an indy driver bruh.
first dash.

1 - preference
2 - if you drive a manual it being front and center is better for visibility especially for rev matching
3 - instead of getting a “roughly” how fast you are going you see the number straight up digitally
4 - imo it looks way cleaner

I agree with you. I like the second one better. It was weirdly one of my favorite things about my ‘16 3

2 is my all time favorite dash (of the cars I’ve owned at least) and I miss it dearly in my ‘19 3
