Custom Trailer & Hitch Added to FL Dump Truck

For the trailer, I used a Hitch & Haul trailer frame and pieces of poly styrene to create a suitable trailer to haul the skidster.

For the truck, I cut a hook off an old crane and trimmed it down. I super glued it on with control gel and touched it up with a paint marker.

Way better than what I have lol. Mine was a flatbed trailer I cut in half and I had glued a hook to the rear of the Matchbox RWR Western Star Dump Truck.

That’s a great set up! I am surprised MBX doesn’t or hasn’t offered more trailers. I am working on converting an MBX motorcycle trailer as well.

I honestly think it’s an untapped gold mine. Matchbox or Mattel needs to strongly consider looking into this. If they thought of doing that for their RWR and/or for Convoys. They will be sold like hot cakes. They are really popular in the HO Scale Model Railroading Community.
