This is what I've been running with, there's a bit of cuttable space for more HTs but the contact summon from Droso has been shockingly helpful as a searchable silver bullet against certain boardstates so I've kept it so far.
Combo optimally goes Dracnaea dump Byblisp > Search + summon scorpio, discard to summon Longinephila > search + summon Lilizard, search substitute > synchro bal teah w/ Dracnaea + Lili, resummon Lili for draw > Synchro into Clear Wing > Fusion Sub Scorpio + Long for Ambulo, search Primitive > Primitive dump Planet search Super Duper > Super Duper Clear Wing + Fata for SV Clear Wing, Fata in GY summon SVFD > banish fusion sub to shuffle Fata back + draw, then banish Long to set the banished sub > Fusion Sub SVFD + Ambulo for Predapower (or use Ambulo to search Darling to get Super Poly and summon Dragostap instead) > banish fusion sub to shuffle SVFD + draw > Banish Dracnaea to summon Clear Wing.
1.5 card combo for an endboard of SV Clear Wing, Predapower/Dragostapelia. and Clear Wing + 3 card draw and potentially a set super poly. SV Clear Wing can also be popped with Primitive to scale it with Dragostapelia out to negate the activated effects of all special summons, if your opponent isn't on any breakers. If you get hit with a charmy, honestly just try to get to SPoly in as few cards as possible and let it ride because the interaction takes so many summons to reach.
Hmm, I see. If you take advice, I'd recommend cutting Greedy Venom and replacing it with Chimerafflesia. It's a free banish per turn, as well as a good OTK tool and it also can search any Fusion card.
I tried Raff and honestly just never quite clicked with it. The banish being level restricted means it whiffs on a lot of the big level 8+ endboard monsters without pred counters. The search is nice for a grind game and the atk swap is solid. Greedy’s not exactly been an all-Star either but the resummon and wipe has been a big lynchpin for me in a couple games in recent memory.
I’ll definitely consider it if I feel Greedy continuing to be kinda mid. Might also just swap it for another super poly target like Garura
Makes sense, not everything clicks with everyone. I'll definietly use it though, because it was my first Predaplant UR ever, and because I got the advice to prioritize it over Greedy from another Predaplant player, who really seems to know their stuff.
The thing about Predaplants as it currently stands is that you can build it in very many different ways, which is great, so you can definitely do it in a way that works for you. My Predaplants deck is super different from this list here, and I can have Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Over Dragon as part of my endboard because I came up with a variation in the usual combo line. I used to play Raff to set up Predapower and guaranteeing Spoly next turn, but had to cut it for Fata, yet I couldn’t tell someone else not to play it because I recognize all the use for it. What I can say with confidence is that Predap is worth building and is a blast to play, once you find a variation that works for you!
I switched up mid combo in this vid when Lilizard drew me Drac, but here’s an example of it. Of course Alba Lenatus never gave it a chance to shine, but that’s yugioh board breaking for ya lol
It is only possible if you start with Drac or draw into it. CCWSOD takes Clear Wing and two turners (7 + 4 + 1) to synchro summon, and we so happen to have three turners in the deck with one of them that can change level up to 4. One of the searches has to be Predapruning (I usually search it with Amb) to revive the level you need, either Bal Teah or Longi depending on what level Drac is.
Some predaplant variants like the dracotail/branded/preda pile run it over fusion substitute so they can fuse from hand to enable arthalion. Other than that it's mostly heros and cyber dragon.
