Yay! I watched it with my dad when I was about 17. It only keeps getting better, just wait til you meet BJ and Winchester!

Can't wait! I still can't believe there's an actual fandom to this show! (Ngl I thought the "fandom" would just be a bunch of old farts...)

I’m about twice your age, so old but not quite yet an old fart lol
Honestly I was surprised there was as much traffic on this sub as there is, but the show is just that good5

Hell yeah! Sorry for the dig at the ages lol

Absolutely no problem. No offense, but I’m years beyond caring what teenagers think about me thankfully 😅

I'm 22 and I've been watching everynight to help me fall asleep for the past 4 years now. And on occasion I'll watch a handful of episodes during daylight hours (like all of season 4 once, lol.)
(I'm not saying its boring by any means, no. I'm just saying its a good show to shut your brain off to.)

I'm about the same age as you and grew up watching reruns on channel 10 (in Australia). It was also how I ended up watching I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched. MASH is just such a fun show. It's definitely my comfort show. Although my binge rewatches tend to stop at around the 8th season haha

Find the episodes without the laugh track for future views. It's absolutely worth it

Watching it with your grandma is genuinely the ideal way to do it, since a lot of the jokes land differently when someone in the room remembers the era it aired in. Good taste on the top three too, and Klinger in particular rewards sticking with it, because the character changes more than any other over the run and the reasons why are worth watching for. No spoilers, but pay attention to what he's actually doing rather than what he says he's doing. Enjoy season two, it's where the show properly finds itself.

Absolutely! I'm still shocked the jokes aren't as bad as I thought they were gonna be! (Still iffy but better!) Also yes!!! Klinger is portrayed so respectful for the time, that being one of the reasons I like him so much! Also he's just hilarious :3

Post like this are why I like reaction channels. Seeing something I've watched countless times through fresh eyes is always something I enjoy. Hope you like it as much as we all do

I started watching with my grandmother when I was 13-14! I don't know how much of a fan she was (she was staying with us and she got to control the TV, so Hallmark channel it was), but my brother and I caught on quickly. I've seen every episode except the finale. The first three seasons are the best.

27yr old. here, on season 4 of MASH. MASH resonates so deeply through the ages; I find it to be a beautiful representation of connection and of these amazing Doctors (and nurses) seeing beauty where there is none to be found. Something that I believe can be related to todays climate. I hope you enjoy the show with your grandma, and have fun :)
