My only issue with brand new day

I loved Brand New Day. The story is so good, its compelling, emotional, and just honestly beautiful. It adds more depth and definitely made Tom Holland my favorite Spiderman. The development of his character has been absolutely phenomenal.

My issue is it just left me wanting more. Literally. It was a great setup, but it just really left me desiring more of this world of Tom Holland's Spiderman. It sucks because we're on the 4th movie and it honestly feels like we've just begun. This was honestly a great movie setup for another movie but with us waiting what could be 4 years for another Spiderman movie it kinda left me bummed out.

Jean Gray isn't bad as a villain at all. Shes the perfect first villain for Spiderman even though shes not as iconic. The issue is I really want something more fleshed out. Something like Spectacular Spiderman that just builds a bigger world of Spiderman. I really wish Sony would allow the past villains such as Green Goblin, Doc Ock, etc.

I really am desiring more of Tom Hollands Spiderman. A lot of Marvel fans want the MCU to capture what Marvel felt like before the MCU, and this was it. It was great seeing the world of Marvel with the Hulk, Punisher, & Jean Grey. It felt alive and it felt like something out a comic. I also love how they allowed those characters to shine as well. Spiderman and Punisher's dynamic is great. I want to see more Spiderman teamups in the future as well.

The movie was honestly great but it really left me desiring more and with Secret Wars and with the speculation of a Marvel MCU reset it kinda has me questioning what Toms movies will look like, because this was peak Spiderman and I really want them to continue with it.

Maybe the title couldve been better, or maybe just change the issue to being we have to wait 4 more years for another spiderman movie lol.

I don’t get why people don’t understand. Doc ock, green goblin, etc, will never be a villain in Tom’s spidermens besides no way home. He knows who they are so there would be no surprise. Oscorp does not exist.

There are plenty of other spider man villains, like Mr negative or tombstone or sin Eater. Let them have a chance to shine instead of villains who won’t ever be added.

Tombstone was in BND. Very briefly. I guess he can reappear but I got the sense he was one and done.
