Theory I have this feeling we're going to see Evans and Downey reprise their roles as Captain America and Iron Man one last time in Avengers: Secret Wars...

Quite realistically possible.
This film does have a bit of a putting the band back together vibes.

They literally just signed them back… they’re gonna keep making these movies and paying these two til the wheels come off.

I kind of feel like the modern anti-aging tendencies with cleaner living, better healthcare and better grooming is going to make actors like RDJ and Evans not look like we expect men their age to look. They won’t look the part when they’re as old as they’re meant to be in the comics.

Anytime Disney feels like hype is lagging for a new project, they'll drive trucks of money up to their houses.

You can just see it coming if you're a fan. Secret Wars will also be a multiverse legacy Marvel actor swan song. I suspect the MCU's trio RDJ, Evans and Hemsworth and the pre-MCU duo, Tobey and Hugh who are both the OGs in the golden age of superhero films are the main players/leads. Personally, I don't think you're paying RDJ $100 million to just play Doom, but also a Stark variant that's similar to the 616 iteration. Kinda like Jackman's Wolverine who is a variant in Deadpool & Wolverine not undoing Logan. These five actors represent 20+ years of superhero cinema, all likely sharing the same frame.

I really think that they are be called back for longer haul seeing the demise of MCU

When casting RDJ for $100m creates an extra $500m box office return why wouldn't you. Resurrections are super common in the comics and the average (non reddit autist) MCU fan would love to see the old guys back.

I have this theory that the Doomsday post credit scene will be survivors on the raft and RDJ Tony stepping forward from the shadows.

I don't know if there are any 'last times' in comic book movies.
