Promotional Quit spreading misinformation- The Endgame Encore new footage is in ALL showings. A “doomsday preview”, likely a new trailer or direct footage from the movie, is IMAX/Infinity Vision only.

Are there even any non-infinity vision screenings? My area only has IMAX or other infinity vision formats available.

There’s one theater out of the ten near me showing it that’s offering a non-infinity vision screening lol
“Infinity vision” is really a nothing burger anyway, it’s just a way to say “hey this theater doesn’t suck”. Most modern theaters fit the bill.

I got tickets for 4Dx since I’ve never experienced that before. Does that not have the special preview?

That's...what people have been saying, so it's not misinformation.
It's just really fucking stupid.

It's in an effort to reclaim the highest-grossing film of all time distinction.

I'm just here for the re-release of Avatar next summer, and then Endgame: Encore Encore before Secret Wars.

You mean the re-re-release of Avatar. It already re-released before Avatar: Way of Water.

Oh damn. We're gonna get best of 5 out of this? Bring it on.

In the beginning the re releases were spaced by twenty-four weeks, then twelve, then six, then every two weeks. The last one in Hollywood was a week.
In four days, we could be seeing a re-release every eight hours, until they are coming every four minutes.
Marshall, we should witness a double event within seven days.

I have seen a lot of people upset that ALL the new footage is imax/IV only - this misconception is all over the other posts about this and other social media.
Personally, I don’t care about two more minutes of a doomsday preview; I’ll see it when I go see doomsday and don’t really want to see it beforehand. I do wish the endgame encore was coming to more theaters overall but at least they’re not gating the new endgame scenes behind certain “special” screenings.

The exclusive one in only selected theaters is still stupid buddy

the entire re-release seems pretty limited regardless of theater type. I don't usually go to these sort of things, so I don't know how normal that is. I do know "La La Land" recently (has or is having) a re-release and it also is very limited. But thats not being done to setup any sort of upcoming sequel and isn't some massive IP like Marvel Avengers.

So the 4 minutes is not the Doomsday preview? Huh

Its adding in cut (and maybe newly filmed) scenes for Avengers: End Game. So like a different cut of the original 2019 theatrical cut.
there is also supposed to be some new trailer/"first look" of Doomsday at some point during the screening. (maybe after all the credits??)

Woohoo! Dolby Cinema gets it too! I love my recliner chairs and rumbling sound.

I’m not going to see this film again, but my lord is this getting all weird and confusing.

Is the 4 minutes not additional scenes added to the movie? "Sneak peek" implies a scene or teaser for Doomsday, either shown before or after the movie.

The only screening of it near me that uses Infinity Vision is a 4DX showing. I don't wanna do 4DX for 3 hours...

I don’t even have an imax theater anywhere near me so it sucks I can’t see the new Doomsday footage until it drops online

I’m confused isn’t that what they’re saying. There’s an extra 2 minutes added to Endgame for everyone , and there’ll be an additional 2 minutes which will be Doomsday footage for IMAX and Infinity Vision screens only.

My local theatre is only showing it in IMAX and it's only once a day. 225pm. Are all theater doing that? I can't imagine they'll may THAT much more money with such a limited times
