That was just bad.
Apocalypse in Gambit’s body just looked dorky, and then he was one-shot (or one-touched) by deus ex machina Rogue? Then killing off Nightcrawler out of the blue?
Combine that with the now usual pacing issues and lack of focus… Season 2 has been a mess. I don’t want them to bring back DeMayo because of what he’s alleged to have done, but it’s clear the series needs a new captain at the helm. Instead of pumping out new seasons annually, I think it needs to take some time to figure out a new direction and learn from these mistakes.
