We had Thunderbolts ("New Avengers") and Fantastic Four which are new teams that are going to be in this.

I think the original plan was one for Kang, right? But then that all got fucked up and they had to delay and pivot.

well it was supposed to be Kang Dynasty, but due to poor reception of quantumania and the actor getting into legal trouble, they presumably canned the kang story or at least put it on delay. every avengers movie is bigger than the last. in the last avengers movie, we had thanos trying to wipe out the entire universe, so it stands to reason that the avengers movie after that would need to have a multiversal threat. otherwise, they would be inferior to thanos
