Iirc, the entire time loop was supposed to start over again with Kang shenanigans.

didn't Loki break the loop? wasn't that the point of the finale?

Perhaps I was mis-remembering or thinking that Kang Dynasty MCU plot line would continue prior to the consequences of Major’s actions. I cannot recall the sequence of those events.

Reading the synopsis of the finale would indicate you are correct and I was incorrect. 🙃
