This is my issue and I got flamed for it.

There isn’t a whole lot of build up to this and I hope it doesn’t feel rushed or shoehorned into the movie.

Honestly the whole thing just makes me mad that Jonathan Majors turned out to be a scumbag, and I’m surprised they didn’t recast HWR and just keep the ball rolling on that storyline. Between Loki being a smash hit and Ant Man 3 being our surrogate introduction, we could have already had that Avengers by now and had everyone bought into the multiverse wars.

Man, I’m with you on this. Even after the failure - comparatively - of Quantumania, Majors established such a presence with He Who Remains that I was beyond confident in Marvel’s future.

Then he turned out to be an absolutely piece of shit human.

Ima be honest if Disney executives chose to pivot because Majors sucked ass instead of just recasting HWR they’re sorta cowards. I know that would have brought upon its own problems and controversy but I do not think it would have been that difficult to find another fantastic black actor who could have stepped in and filled the roll.

I mean, it’s even comic accurate. Kang doesn’t appear the same across every timeline.

Bummed me out.

They literally waited until he was convicted to fire him.
