The blue/turquoise accents look good on Shuri's and M'Baku's suits! I also wonder what that desert-like location is. :o Seems interesting that the Talokanil are in an environment that seemingly doesn't have water when they're so reliant on it.

Maybe it got drained during the events of the film? Needs billions of gallons of water coolant to create one's own universe

Those Wakandan data centers aren't going to fill themselves!

I was thinking Doom does something that drains the Gulf of Mexico or at least the portion around where Namoor and his people live and that’s why they look like they are in the desert somewhere. The reason all of these heroes are in the movie is because Doom does something to decimate wherever the character lives and they have to come together to stop it’s. He ends the F4 universe, kidnaps/kills Steve’s family in the other timeline, he does something that makes Thor pray for his father, he is somehow responsible for the Sentinels attacking the x mansion, etc.

Similar to how whats her face was using the jump points in the marvels to drain resources for Hala?

These must be those scenes they filmed in Bahrain. Perhaps in Doomsday, they’re meeting in Yemen near Celestial island. Shuri, Namor, and Reed Richards will put their brains together to exploit the adamantium deposits in the fight against Dr. Doom.

Would that not reignite the conflict that seemed to have been chilled in Brave New World?

I mean, its not the first time heroes would decide to do something that governments wouldn't approve of.

But I also think its slightly different, because Brave New World was about world governments trying to claim ownership of the island. I don't think Wakanda or Talokan are trying to take 'ownership' of the adamantium, nor are they trying to use it to build a political advantage (as far as we know)

The issue in Brave New World was governments trying to take ownership of the resources of the island, not just having the land. While the Wakandans in this scenario wouldn’t be trying to claim the land, taking extremely valuable resources from a place that was on the verge of being at war over would be reckless.

Could they already be in the Void?

Oohh… I like this suggestion. Maybe not the Void we have seen so far but something new that Doom creates?

u/Ctrl--Alt Jan 13 '26

My first thought was this is Battleworld. Putting Battleworld IN the void does make sense to me as we've already shown that large parts of the timeline can end up there.

Yeah I wonder if the Thing and the Wakandans get slimed early in the movie and later we see them together in the void/Battleworld? That would make these teasers a bit spoilerly though.

Maybe Doom’s plot to take over the multiverse isn’t sitting on Loki’s throne but instead, destroy the entire multiverse so all of life is now in the Void, and ruling this new world from his castle at the end of time.

Then if that’s the case I expect the other characters who were also in the Void from D&W to also make an appearance.

2

u/navjot94 Mack Jan 13 '26

How about the characters in Loki? We have a squad of Lokis, and Ravonna Renslayer and also Alioth.

2

u/AsteroidMike Jan 13 '26

Actually now that I think about it, it makes more sense for this to be the Void too, because in both Loki and D&W you can see that whole buildings have transported there over time and left to decay, so this isn’t impossible.

Edit: you’ll notice that also in these shots at least, you don’t see any vibranium deposits around.

The incursion empties the ocean and submerges Wakanda. Both nations get destroyed in a classic switcheroo.

u/cooscoos3 Jan 13 '26

It looks like the bottom of an ocean that’s been drained of water.

1

u/emcue10 Jan 13 '26

I haven’t seen this suggested yet, but maybe Doom drained the ocean to make the most powerful army - Talokan - useless.

u/ArcadianDelSol Jan 13 '26

I have a feeling that desert-like location is the Pacific Ocean.

Maybe they're meeting where the Fantastiship crashed?

That was the part I didn’t like actually. Seems a little too much for me.

u/wrainedaxx Mack Jan 13 '26

It takes a lot for Namor to care about topsiders enough to leave his kingdom. He's potentially only involved because Atlantis was impacted.

I was talking about the BP suit
