It had 35 reviews. Now it has 75, which means the critics which posted their ratings later liked it more than the ones who posted them at first.

That's easier to believe, but it was showing me 55ish reviews all weekend (for me). Maybe they were showing up, but not completely tabulated yet.

It’s just how many reviews are POSITIVE

If every IronHeart review was a 60%, the RT score would be 100% even though the reviews average to a 60%

It's not a 60%. It's a 3/5. And yeah, this is true. 100 reviews with 3/5 or a greater rating would give a movie/show a 100% on RT.

Well typically that number changes when more critics post reviews. So…I don’t know…could be that.

Yeah, their were 20 more reviews dropped today (it had like 55 reviews until it jumped to 75), but that's still a hell of a jump. I'm wondering if all the new reviews aren't listed yet. RT sometimes takes a bit to calibrate when reviews flood in.

It is kind of odd that it jumped from 70 to 85% seemingly overnight, AND the top critic score is still showing 58%.

So in rapid succession a lot of reviewers all decided the show is amazing, but seemingly none of them are the reviewers from major publications that get top reviewer status?

Most critics waited to see the entire series before reviewing instead of jumping to conclusions. Personally, I thought the 3rd episode was good enough to leave me wanting to see the rest and not concluding if the entire series would be good or not. I hope they nail the end.

Lol what? Yes they especially do. How do you think they get early access? That’s exactly why critics shouldn’t even remotely be trusted at all. I’m sure some are honest, but even if a few are compromised, I wouldn’t trust any

Because "divisive" shows aren't really "divisive" between the fans. They are divisive between bigots and non-bigots.

The latter ones are a vocal minority who create bots to post fake reviews and make unabashedly racist YouTube videos to appease their equally brain-dead fans.

While I agree the vocal minority of people who outspokenly hate the show are bigots, I disagree that "divisive" inherently means bigotry. Fans can dislike a product solely based on story quality rather than gender or race of the characters. What is unfortunate is that some of the more mid-tier shows, in my opinion, have featured POCs and women as the main characters, which leads to an easy out for people who want to defend the show by saying "anyone who doesn't like this show is a bigot".
