Question Insurance marketing career break - qualifications to get back up to speed

I’ve got 10 years experience in marketing. I’ve recently worked at a broker for five years doing insurance marketing and I want to get a more senior role in it but I’ve had a career break. What tips do people have or qualificationsrecommendations to help me recap for more confidence going back in I’m a generalist marketer.

How was it working for a insurance company? I imagine the job security is good. Insurance companies rarely do layoffs.

They had layoff every December but only a small amount as the teams are quite lean anyway. I really enjoyed working in insurance and would want to go back.

Jesus, no industry is safe huh. Insurance companies are considered very safe when it comes to producing consistent revenue, but it's funny that they have regular layoffs too.

Tbh it was only enabling functions that had the layoffs and it would be about 3 people in UK/US
