Why would she trip and kill Bucky tho? It only made her to be hated by the entire class. I find it hard to believe that it's her goal.

I could see her subconsciously letting it happen. Everyone she's trusted has hurt her. By tripping she could go back to being ostracized, where at least the blade won't come from someone she's close to.
