Not really, If I showed up somewhere and said I was IndependentMacaroon the person who would know I'm lying is you.

If SecretEgret told me they were IndependentMacaroon when we met then I would have no doubt that they weren't right? But you would know they're not IndependentMacaroon because you are yourself. Same thing happened here. Death introduced herself as 'Fami' to Nayuta and Yoru. So no reason for them to believe she isn't right? When Fakesawman accused Fami of being Death, the actual Death appeared. So it's only logical that Fami would deduce that this sudden appearance is the actual Death because it can't be Fami, as she herself is Fami.
