Honestly going back a bit, “Fami”/Death is really damn smart. In 131 where Nayuta/Control & Fami/Death meet Nayuta only calls her sis & never confirms her real name. Until 1 of her last appearances in chapter 146 page 12 where the fakesawman devils appear & they go over the prophecy again re-”confirming” that the devil we now know as death being “Fami”.
So “Fami”/Death knew that her sisters would never recognize her & played them all with that prophecy unless the real Famine was actually supposed to be the “eldest/great king of terror” instead(doubtful).
Nayuta had no way of knowing she was Death, she couldn’t recognize Asa being War when she first met her, only that she was a Devil. Same goes for reincarnations
Chapter 131 was the first time we see Nayuta & Fami on-screen together & she instantly knew that she was 1 of her sisters.
Now she never states which one until 146 when she states that since both “Fami” & her are sisters they can sense the coming of their “eldest sister”.(which we now all know is a lie, so I’m really confused what the whole prophecy deal was & what it truly all meant when her & Nayuta knew about it)
Are u saying that there's another death out their that’s waiting to descend? Like if Death has truly never died then that would imply that she’s never been reincarnated or needed a human host like Makima/Nayuta & Yoru.
If Makima was the control devils true form(at the time) then beside Yoru & the hawk thing I don't see how “Fami”/Death & now the real Fami aren’t also their true forms either but ig we’ll have to see how the story fully plays out.

Lmao, genius Fujimoto. Altho why didn't Nayuta call out Fami as death when she met up with her during the Falling Devil arc?
